My name is Christine Fields, LMSW and I consider myself to be a compassionate clinician who is
dedicated to assisting individuals heal.
I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work at Tarleton State University.
I have close to 11 years working with individuals who have experienced severe trauma. I have worked
for the Women’s Center of Tarrant County in the Rape-Crisis, Victim Services department as an
Advocate, Crisis Interventionist, and Case Manager. In all of these capacities, I was on the front lines
working with victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Trafficking and other types of victimization. I
have also worked with CPS, and the Gatehouse of Grapevine where I further used my skills in serving
trauma survivors, as well as coaching women in building heathier, financially stable lives.
Along with my clinical Social Work skills, I am a Certified Financial Social Worker and a Global Career
Development Facilitator.
My passion for my clients to experience their authentic selves and healing comes from the firm belief
everyone has exactly what they need within themselves. I tend to use a very eclectic approach. I am
well versed in using a client-centered and strengths-based approach. I also firmly believe in dealing with
the root causes of the issues and barriers. EMDR is my favorite go to for uncovering those hidden root
causes, which I feel is a very effective tool when dealing with trauma, as well as CBT.
